Zum Cafe

Ok Kitty heres my new post

Zum Cafe Salamanca like it!
I like it for a few reasons 1 the coffee's good 2 the foods good 3 the decors good its a warm friendly environment plus there are good looking waitresses there which is a big tick for me ( im kidding looks dont matter but hey its always good in my opinion to be served my a good looking waitress Actually just getting served by a waitress/waiter gains points in my book),
anyway back to Zum love the little court yard out back but am wondering why so many staff on the days i have been there there were 5 staff on the floor most just walking around waiting for a rush but i will put this down to the fact that it is a new business but anyway i like it nice place for an Espresso or 2 and a read of the paper or just a quick bite and chat to friends i say def go there for a good coffee. I wonder how this will affect the Quarry heres hoping it will make them lift there game.

havent been into zum, but not sure if i will, was sitting outside quarry yesterday, and one thing i noticed , yes the waitresses were pretty, but also pretty dirty, wish they would realise aprona arent ment for wiping your hands on, every waitress had dirtied there aprons with paw marks, and they also seem very nervous serving people, anyway, wasnt meant as critisism but for more an observation

coffee and almond croissant at Zum is almost better than lunch. Had 3 different waitstaff - show table, water & order, bring food; and Tom Otte took the money at the end. Appears quite elaborately staffed, but it was late morning - maybe building up for lunch?

i was next door yesterday again, and observed again the dirty aprons, different uniforms now aswell, and really slow service bringing food out, my pet hate, table of 4, one plate at a time, so long that the first person had finnished her meal already by the time the last got there, so, i personally dont think i will be trying it for awhile, no offence to anyone, but i dont thin its that hard to get a tbl of 4's meals up at once

I'm a big fan of the new Zum. I think they came back well since cloing down next door (where the quarry is now). The waitress that served us was professional, clean and sexy. Coffee was great (thanks to my luck of getting the good barista named Dorje). Food was really memorable (in a good way) and price was good for Salamanca. Over-staffed yes, but what do I care, I'm not paying the wages. PS. dont go on a saturday or sunday morning because the place gets PACKED!!!
